2016 Chevy Traverse Concept Preview

2016 Chevy Traverse concept is the newest SUV car from Chevrolet that is rumored to be released in the near future.  Traverse is claimed to be one the best products from Chevrolet in the SUV product line. And they are planning to release this new model after the success of the previous 2015 model. There’s still no official anouncement about the release date, but General Motors are planning to have it ready for sale on second half of this year, 2015.

SUV cars is becoming more and more popular in the global market. SUV type is desired because of many reasons. Some people are interested in the masculinity of its designs. Some want them because of their engines, which usually have great performance. Some of the buyers like the functionality, which is the wide space in the car, that means more people and stuffs can be loaded in the car without too much trouble. 2016 Chevy Traverse Concept Description

This car is built based on the infamous Lambda platform from General Motors. Based on its predecessor's performance in the market, it seems that General Motors won't make a major change in this 2016 Chevy Traverse redesign.  For the start, this 2016 Chevy Traverse Concept will have the same type of engine with the 2015 model. it is a 3,6L V6 DOHc engine, with six transmissions.
2016 Chevy Traverse Concept will have aluminum body, which is a popular option in car production today. Many manufacturers choose aluminum because of its lightness. Using this material, This 2016 Chevrolet Traverse is aiming on reducing its weight and fuel consumption. 2016 Chevy Traverse is expected to be more economical in term of fuel consumption. It is said to be 5-10% lower than its predecessor, the 2015 Chevy Traverse.

The interior this car is predicted to have standart equipment in a modern car. The interior is spacious enough to carry up to eight people. You can also remove the back row seats if you need to load more luggage. The dashboard of  2016 Chevy Traverse Concept will be equipped with 6,5” touchscreen display, that obviously have navigation and entertainment functions.

2016 Chevy Traverse Concept Model Differences

This 2016 Chevy Traverse Concept will be released in two model option. There will be basic model and LTZ. In term of design, the basic model of 2016 Chevy Traverse Concept will have one exhaust pipe, while the LTZ one will have two exhaust pipes. That is not the only difference between this two models. the LTZ model offers four wheel drive option, while the basic model will be a front wheel drive car.

There is also a slight difference in the engine performance between these two models. The basic model will have  280 horsepower and 265 lb-ft torque. While using the same engine, the LTZ model is somewhat more powerful than the basic model. It is said, that the LTZ one will have 8 more horsepower and 270 lb-ft torque. No matter which one you choose, the 2016 Chevy Traverse Concept is a great SUV car, that will make you proud having it.
